    We need to live life on life’s terms. That doesn’t mean letting people mistreat us. It means seeing reality and being assertive, thinking ahead, and seeing where a personal or business relationship is going, not just cruising along in an illusion while things get worse. Abusive and deceptive behavior gets worse over time, not better.
